Demand for lithium to use in battereis is expected to grow as wireless devices and electric vehicles proliferate, and there might not be enough lithium to meet the demand. This project answers the question of whether lithium availability will affect the electrification of the automobile. No published paper addresses the disagreement on availability of lithium to meet the demand. This project will be the first to combine lithium's supply, demand, and geopolitical factors in one paper.
